Electro-Cap (ECI) Empty Cap (No Holders)

These Electro-Cap Empty Caps from ECI (Electro-Cap International) are so-called "Empty" or "Plain" caps that come with no holders (for EEG, NIRS or other electrodes/sensors), no holes and no markers. These caps come pre-assembled with cap strap fastener rings (loops) and a chin strap. Electro-Cap empty caps are made of an elastic spandex-type fabric.

Electro-Cap Empty Caps come in different sizes to fit very large adult to infant head sizes. The medium Electro-Cap will fit approximately 65% of all patients over the age of 5. The small cap will fit primarily children from the ages of 2 to 5 years. The extra small cap will fit most children from 9 months to 2 years of age. Sizes in age are approximate; the patient should always be measured to determine the proper cap size.

Electro-Cap Empty Caps can be used for a variety of different applications including EEG, EEG for LTM (Long-Term Monitoring), PSG (Polysomnography), Ambulatory, Telemetry, NIRS, and even animal research.
