ER3C™ earphones are the next generation of insert earphones, replacing ER3A earphones, which have been the worldwide standard for audiometric insert earphones since 1985. Available with an impedance of either 10 Ohm, 50 Ohm or 300 Ohm.

ER3C™ earphones are the next generation of insert earphones, replacing ER3A earphones, which have been the worldwide standard for audiometric insert earphones since 1985.

The frequency response and performance characteristics of ER3C earphones are virtually identical to the original ER3A earphones at all audiometric frequencies. Models with 10 Ohm, 50 Ohm and 300 Ohm impedance are available. This is something which is typically listed in the technical specifications of your audio amplifier (“load impedance”). If it is not listed, or if you are using a laptop to output the sound, then the 50 Ohm model is typically the best option.
