Quick Insert Electrode (E4S) for Electro-Caps from ECI is a temporary electrode for Electro-Cap EEG caps with defective electrodes. 150cm cable length, terminates in a DIN 1.5mm touch-proof (TP) socket, 1 electrode per pack.
This Quick Insert Electrode (E4S) from Electro-Cap is a temporary EEG electrode that can be used when there is a faulty or defective EEG electrode in the Electro-Cap EEG cap. Using a Quick Insert Electrode will override the standard cap wiring and replace the faulty/defective electrode during an EEG examination. Insert the Quick Insert Electrode into the hole where gel is injected. Ensure Electro Gel is injected before mounting the Quick Insert Electrode.
Quick Insert Electrodes come pre-assembled to a 150cm lead wire and terminate in a DIN 1.5mm touch-proof (TP) sockets (female connector). 1 Quick Insert Electrode per pack.
Difference between Tin and Ag/AgCl Quick Insert Electrodes
For standard Electro-Cap EEG caps select Quick Insert Electrodes made of tin. Use Ag/AgCl (Silver/Silver-Chlorided) Quick Insert Electrodes only for "Special 32 channel Electro-Cap" EEG caps with Ag/AgCl electrodes in order to avoid DC offsets. If unsure, select the standard tin quick insert electrodes.

Instruction for Use
- Assess and locate the defective EEG electrode on the Electro-Cap EEG cap.
- Inject Electro-Gel through the hole on the back of the EEG electrode mount in a rocking motion to ensure low impedances (if not already done).
- Insert Quick Insert Electrode into the hole on the back of the EEG electrode mount.
- Plug the DIN 1.5mm touch-proof (TP) connector into the 1.5mm touch-proof socket of your EEG amplifier.
- Check the impedances.
