ST8 Stylus for FASTRAK

The ST8 Stylus is a lightweight stylus designed for capturing precise position and orientation data. It is a 20cm (8 inch) stylus used for the FASTRAK system by Polhemus. Connect the ST8 stylus to one of the "Receiver" labelled D-SUB 15 sockets on the back of the FASTRAK. The stylus is typically used for EEG electrode location co-registration and digitizes 3D locations at the rounded nib of the stylus. With the stylus, you can produce both single and continuous output.

The stylus outputs its location information through a 3m (10ft) cable to a FASTRAK system. The stylus comes with a black protection cap.
