Surface EMG/NCS Disc Electrodes (Pair)

These Surface EMG/NCS Disc Electrodes are made out of stainless steel. The electrode disc has a diameter of 10mm. A pin on top of the disc electrode allows for a firm mounting with the help of tape. These EMG disc electrodes come in pairs, both being assembled to a 60cm lead wire which are color-coded (red and black lead wire) and twisted to reduce noise artefacts. Both cables terminate in a 1.5mm touch-proof (TP) DIN socket.

Surface disc electrodes are typically used for EMG and NCS applications. However, they can also be used for other biosignal recording applications or electrical stimulation.

Application Notes

1. Remove the surface EMG disc electrodes from the bag.
2. Apply contact gel (e.g. Synapse) to the cavity underneath the disc electrode.
3. Place disc electrodes on subject's skin at the desired location.
4. Fix disc electrodes to subject by using tape covering the disc electrodes and allowing the pin to penetrate through tape.
5. Connect 1.5mm touch-proof (TP) sockets to biosignal amplifier or electrical stimulator.
