Details

The Lumina 3G response system from Cedrus is a sturdy, low latency, and MRI-compatible system for capturing subjects' responses through button presses and triggers generated by MR scanners. It records time stamps with millisecond accuracy and converts them into simultaneous serial port and parallel port outputs.

Lumina is compatible with many stimulation presentation software packages such as SuperLab, E-Prime, Inquisit, and MEDx. It can also be implemented into your software/paradigm programmed in C++, Python, or Matlab. The time-stamped information is output only through the serial port.

The rear panel of the Lumina 3G/3G+ Controller features the following ports from left to right:

Power button
Power supply connector
RJ-45 connector for connecting a Lumina Response Pad
Two connectors (BNC and optical) for registering triggers from the MR scanner
Audio jack for light sensors
Display port for m-pod system
USB for connection to the host computer

Lumina comes as a kit or standalone system. The standalone system includes a Mini USB cable, medical-rated power supply and 1-year warranty. The Lumina kit additionally includes a Lumina response pad and necessary cables to connect the response pad to the Lumina controller.
