m-pod (Cedrus)

m–pod is a plug-and-play solution and deliveres Event Markers to your connected EEG System, eye tracker, NIRS System (sampling time must not be higher than 2msec, otherwise event markers might be missed), or other recording instrument. The m-pod is compatible with:

With the m–pod, you can map any input signal to any output pin and build your own custom output table. Thanks to its specially designed microprocessor, this translation power adds only a 50µs delay.

As with other Cedrus products, there is no need of any programming skills. We provide Xidon 2 (pronounced Zydon), a friendly app for Mac and Windows (currently in development). You simply enable checkboxes for the signals that you want.

m–pod is the key link between the Lumina or RB response pads on one side, and your EEG system or eye tracker on the other side. Its operation is independent of the USB connection with the computer. You can even use your response pad in the less precise keyboard mode but still get very accurate event marking on your recording device.
