DD45 Audiometric Headphones (RadioEar)

The DD45 Audiometric Headphones by RadioEar are a pair of high-quality, Supra Aural on-ear headphones for any kind of audiometric setup. With an impedance of 10 Ohm and a frequency response between 100 Hz and 8000 Hz, it is highly compatible and easy to set up. The DD45 Audiometric Earphones have been built to meet all of the requirements of ANSI S3.6 - 2010 and ISO389-1 section 4.3. Designed to emulate the performance and functionality of the most widely used earphones for audiological testing currently available in the market. The DD45 air transducer is produced to the utmost quality standards, presenting a cost-effective alternative.

This DD45 model is a complete headphone including a headband and audio cables. The audio cables come pre-assembled with two stereo 6.35mm audio plugs (can be used to deliver a mono or stereo audio signal). Connectors and headphones are color-coded for proper binaural identification (red=right and blue=left).

DD45 Headbands

The DD45 can be configured with different headbands for different levels of pressure, weight, and comfort. All three headband models can be easily fit to different adult head sizes with the help of side adjustments.

• Foldable Headband (HBA, model P4492): the foldable headband is the most requested since it offers a high level of comfort and can be folded into a small and portable form factor. Suitable for general-purpose audiological applications such as linguistic/speech research.
• Headband with 2 Yokes (RE-7, model P4490): a small and lightweight headband offering minimal pressure on the head and maximum pressure of the loudspeakers on the ears.
• High Tension Headband (HB3045, model P4493): this headband allows for extra pressure on the ears (4.5N ±0.5N). Optimal for applications where a tight fit is required, for example in ABR (auditory brainstem response) / AEP applications.
