Disposable Dry Radiotranslucent Electrodes (EL509)

Our disposable, dry, radiotranslucent electrodes come with a rectangular contact. These electrodes have a long shelf-life and can only be used with MR compatible cables available from us, please enquire. Ideally for EDA/GSR applications. Must apply isotonic electrode paste (see related products). 100 dry MR compatible electrodes per pack.

• Ag/AgCl laminated, carbon composition contact (11 mm diameter)
• Incorporates gel cavity (16 mm diameter 1.5 mm deep)
• Foam tape backing: 1.5 mm thick, latex-free

Application Note

Important Note: For electrodermal activity (EDA/GSR) studies it is important to use isotonic gel with a similar (isotonic) chloride salt content as the skin surface. Other gels, pastes and creams will potentially hypersaturate or hyposaturate the eccrine glands. For dried out electrodes, use GEL101 (see related products below).

MRI Use: Conditional to 7T

EL507 Note: The EDA/GSR electrode EL507 has been discontinued. As an alternative, we recommend purchasing EL509 together with GEL101A EDA/GSR Isotonic Electrode Paste. EL509 are dry electrodes. Before sticking EL509 to the subject's skin, apply GEL101A to the sponge and contact surface of the EL509 electrode.
