DPC Coupler Tubes

These DPC Coupler Tubes are compatible with DPOAE (Distortion Products Otoacoustic Emissions) probe models UGD, SND, and SGD from Otodynamics Inc. These DPC coupler tubes can easily be replaced by removing the probe body and lid first. To ensure the longevity of the probe, replace ear tips and coupler tubes regularly. We recommend replacing tips after every examination and coupler tubes after 20-40 TEOAE/DPOAE examinations.

Available packaging sizes are either 10 or 100 coupler tubes per pack.

Applications Notes

On occasion, probes may become contaminated by wax or other debris. This may block the sound coupler tubes, leading to inaccurate test results and damaging of the probes. Therefore, coupler tubes should be visually inspected before fitting a new tip and changed regularly. Do not attempt to clean contaminated coupler tubes.

Perform weekly probe QA tests and if coupler tubes are contaminated, replace them. We recommend replacing the coupler tubes regularly, approximately every 20-40 TEOAE/DPOAE examinations.

The DPC Coupler Tubes have three holes, one is for the microphone and the other two are for the loudspeakers.
