Earclip Electrode - Gold (Au)

Reusable Earclip Electrodes are intended for non-invasive use commonly in EEG, EP, EMG, and other biopotential measurements. These ear clip electrodes are made up of two single gold (Au) cup electrodes. The diameter of these gold cup electrodes is 10mm. The cable length is 150cm cable and terminates in a DIN 1.5mm touch-proof (TP) socket.

Application Notes

• Clean and disinfect patient's skin prior to application of reusable earclip electrodes according to the procedures of your healthcare facility.
• The earclip electrodes should be applied with the use of a conductive EEG gel/paste with or without collodion. The conductive gel may be applied by a syringe through the hole on the top of the earclip electrode.
• After cleaning, earclip electrodes may be disinfected with the use of 70% ethanol. The earclip and cable can be briefly (5-15 minutes) immersed in 70% ethanol or wiped with a soft cloth dipped in a disinfectant solution. The 1.5mm touch-proof (TP) DIN connector should never be immersed in any liquid.
• These earclip electrodes must not be sterilized, as sterilization may damage the electrode.
• Store earclip electrodes loosely coiled and at room temperature.
