Piezo Limb Movement Sensor (1.5mm Touch-Proof Connectors) - Kit

This Limb Movement Sensor Kit (1770-Kit) is a piezo-based sensor manufactured by SleepSense. It is designed for measuring leg/limb movements during sleep research (PSG) applications. Limb movement sensors can be placed either on the back of the hand, on the ankle, or foot of the subject. The piezo crystal inside the movement sensor outputs a signal that is directly proportional to the hand or leg movement. Optimal positioning on the tendons ensures exceptional sensitivity of the movement sensor. This limb movement sensor is intended for use on children and adult subjects.

The sensor comes connected to a two-lead cable which terminates in two DIN 1.5mm touch-proof (TP) connectors (female). It is compatible with most biosignal amplifiers that have bipolar DIN 1.5mm touch-proof (TP) connectors.

Technical Note: Piezo limb movement sensor connects only to biosignal amplifiers that provide an analog AC input.
