Disposable Subdermal Needle - Hook Type (25/pack)

These steel subdermal needles are made of steel and the needle itself is of type hook. The needle is 12mm in length and 0.35mm in diameter. Disposable Subdermal Needles come pre-assembled with an 8cm connection cable which terminates in a 1mm pin. Use an appropriate 1mm socket to DIN 1.5mm touch-proof (TP) adaptor or connection cable to connect to your EMG/EP system. These needles are for single-use (disposable) only and not to be reused!

These Disposable Subdermal Needles are suitable for measuring electrical potentials from the subject's muscles in EMG (electromyography), EP (evoked potentials), EEG (electroencephalography and IOM (intra-operative monitoring) neurophysiology applications.

One box contains 5 x 5 Disposable Subdermal Needle - Hook Type. Each subdermal needle is packed in a sterilized packaging.

Application Notes

• Do not use EMG needle if the pouch is damaged.
• Open the pouch and remove the EMG needle from the sterile pouch.
• Connect the EMD needle connector to the EMG equipment.
• Remove the needle sheath.
• Introduce the needle into the area to be tested. Insert the needle up to the hub.
• Do not straighten or re-insert if the needle bends before, during, or after insertion. Discard and replace with a new needle.
• After the use dispose of the EMG needle according to standard protocols or alternatively put the needle in approved biohazard sharps containers.
