The Digitimer DS7AP-DP Disposable Precision Bipolar Probe is intended for use with the DS7AP muscle locating stimulator. These single-use probes are perfect for Peña, "Pull-Through", PSARP (posterior sagittal anorectoplasty) or during surgery to stimulate nerve action potentials. It may only be used in contact with cranial and peripheral nerves, and spinal nerve roots.DS7AP-bipolar probes are sterile and disposable (single-use only).

DS7AP-DP bipolar probes have 2 lead wires colored red and white. When used, the red lead wire should be connected to the red socket (positive or anode) and the white lead wire to the black socket (negative or cathode). The lead wires are 190cm long and twisted. Lead wire terminates to a pair of DIN 1.5mm touch-proof (TP) DIN42802 connectors. The tips are 70mm long and insulated. The DS7AP-DP probes are compatible with the D185-HB4-2m cable (which is supplied with the DS7AP stimulator).

Application Notes

  • DS7AP-DP bipolar probes are equipped with two lead wires red and white. Connect the red touch-proof connector to the positive (anode) and the white touch-proof connector to the negative (cathode) connector on your electrical stimulator.
  • The DS7AP-DP bipolar probe is sterilized using Ethylene Oxide (EO) gas and must not be reused.
  • The DS7AP-DP bipolar probe is not designed to be re-sterilized and damage to the device or cross-infection may occur should any attempt be made to re-sterilize by any method.
  • When stimulating nerve tissue, the lowest effective current should be applied for desired results.
