EMSE Locator

LOCATOR software from EMSE allows you to measure accurately electrode locations on an external head shape in a 3D space. These electrode locations may then be used for MRI co-registration and accurate source estimation. LOCATOR software utilizes a FASTRAK or PATRIOT system from Polhemus to register the x-/y-/z-coordinates of your EEG/NIRS/MEG/EMG/ECG etc. electrodes by the help of a stylus. For EEG electrode co-registration, LOCATOR guides you through a step-by-step procedure for correct electrode labelling. Furthermore, LOCATOR automatically compensates for head movement with the help of 1-3 head mounted sensors. External shapes can also be co-registered with the "drawing" function.

• Sensor and fiducial names can be read out loud in any language to minimize the need to monitor the Locator software display during digitization.

• Import functionality: ASCII setup files may be used to store commonly used sequences (e.g. electrode names).
• Export functionality: ASCII (EMSE format) probe and headshape files; BESA and Curry ASCII export formats.
• We will supply an output for BESA Research, so that data can be exported to BESA for Source Analyis.
