Hyperscanning Trigger Interface (ActiveThree)

The Hyperscanning Trigger Interface is a USB trigger interface for daisy-chaining multiple ActiveThree EEG systems from BioSemi and sending 8-bit trigger markers from a stimulation presentation computer.

It comes with four different connectors: a D-Sub 37 male connector, a USB Type-C connector, and two RJ-45 connectors. The D-Sub 37 connects directly (without additional cables or connectors) to a BioSemi USB Receiver. The USB Type-C connects through a USB Type-C cable to the stimulation presentation computer running Presentation or E-Prime. The two RJ-45 connectors inter-connect multiple ActiveThrees, enabling daisy-chaining through standard UTP (unshielded twisted pair) cables.

Hyperscanning through this trigger interface allows for synchronizing an unlimited number of ActiveThree AD-boxes. With the ActiveTwo and optical hyperscanning this was limited to four ActiveTwo AD-boxes.
