Active Sensor Electrodes (Flat or Pin)

These Active Sensor Electrodes from BioSemi integrate an impedance changer inside the electrode itself, ensuring low-noise measurements free of interference and without any skin preparation. BioSemi active sensor electrodes can only be used with BioSemi amplifiers including the ActiveTwo.

Active sensor electrodes can be used for a variety of different biosignal acquisition applications including EEG, EMG, ECG, EOG, and many more! They come as either Flat or Pin type. The Flat type active electrodes is useful for EMG/ECG/EOG measurements on flat skin surfaces. We recommend using a double adhesive sticker to stick Flat type active electrodes to the desired location on the subject's body. Pin type active electrodes are useful for P300 or EP measurements where only a few electrodes are needed. The housing of the pin type active electrode has been designed to snug fit into an EEG holder from BioSemi.

8 single active electrodes per pack. Active sensor electrodes come connected to a 1.5m lead cable and terminate in a keylock 1.5mm DIN touch proof (TP) socket. Each active electrode is labeled on the top with an EXG1-EXG8 sticker.
