USB Receiver (ActiveTwo and ActiveThree)

The USB Receiver (version USB2 Receiver) from BioSemi is equipped with a myriad of features including 16 trigger inputs, 15 trigger outputs, and LEDs for indicating status and connectivity. It is compatible with the latest version of Windows and macOS. An optical fiber cable and USB2 cable are included in the package.

BioSemi USB2 Receiver comes with a 16-bit trigger port and wiring diagram to support trigger IN/OUTPUT connections. The front side of the BioSemi USB2 Receiver is equipped with four different LEDs. These LEDs indicate power, connectivity, and incoming triggers. It converts the optical data coming from the ActiveTwo AD-box to a USB output and streams data to your acquisition computer. Furthermore, it features a trigger port with 16 independent trigger inputs and 15 independent trigger outputs. It connects via an optical fiber to the ActiveTwo AD-box keeping the subject and AD-box galvanically isolated from mains power. This not only ensures subject safety but also eliminates electrical noise artefacts from mains-powered sources.

The BioSemi USB2 Receiver offers fast and easy setup and installation (plug and play) combined with fully reliable high-speed data throughput. A 256 channel 24bit ActiveTwo system at 4096kHz including a 32 channel Analog Input Box at 4096kHz has a total data throughput of 3.54MByte/sec. The ActiView acquisition software streams this data reliably to the computer's hard drive.

The trigger output signals can be controlled with an extra independent LabVIEW thread integrated into ActiView acquisition software. The trigger inputs allow easy setup of EP/ERP measurements and event logging.

The BioSemi USB2 Receiver further allows the ActiveTwo system to be used with both desktop and notebook computers. A complete portable 256 channel EEG/ECG/EMG system setup can be achieved by the use of a laptop/notebook computer.

BioSemi USB2 Receiver is compatible with Windows 7/8/10/11 (32-/64-bit) and latest LabView Runtime Engine.

Please note: previously HighSpeed ActiveTwo Systems needed the updated HighSpeed USB2 Receivers (White Box) - this new USB2 Receiver automatically switches from standard speed to HighSpeed depending on ADC used. The standard optical ST-ST Fiber is not compatible with this new USB2 Receiver box - please enquire.
