PCI Card for adding an LPT/Parallel Port to your computer. Allows for sending 8-bit triggers to a biosignal amplifier from Presentation/E-Prime/SuperLab/STIM2 software. Kit includes a PCI card, drivers, and manual.
This PCI card adds an LPT / Parallel port to your desktop or workstation computer. The computer must run either Windows or Linux, since macOS does not support LPT / parallel ports. The computer requires an empty PCI slot inside. It comes with a D-Sub 25 port for connecting to the majority of trigger cables.
PCI / LPT / parallel ports are useful for sending 8-bit triggers from a stimulation presentation software like Presentation, E-Prime, SuperLab, STIM2 software to a biosignal amplifier like an EEG amplifier (e.g., ActiveTwo from BioSemi or the DSI from Wearable Sensing).
This PCI card comes as a kit that includes the PCI card itself, drivers, and manual.
Technical Note: For a USB-driven solution, check the MMBT-S Trigger Interface Box from NEUROSPEC AG.
