Details

This subject response switch is designated to work with the ActiveThree EEG system from BioSemi. It connects to one of the six AUX inputs on the rear of the AD-box of the ActiveThree. It comes pre-assembled with a 200cm (2m) connection cable that terminates in a 6-pin touch-proof (TP) connector.

This ActiveThree subject response switch is round and has a diameter of 70.0mm and a height of 22.0mm. The button itself measures 19.5mm in diameter and 3.0mm in height. It features four anti-slip plastic knobs on the bottom of the response switch's housing.

Response switches are used to record the accurate timing of subjects' responses. Connecting the response switch directly to the ActiveThree ensures highly accurate timing as the response switch pulse is sampled and multiplexed together with the EEG signals simultaneously. This also ensures subject safety as the response switch is isolated from the main power.

One ActiveThree allows connecting up to six response switches simultaneously to record subject responses.
