Dry Ground Strap Electrode, 0 Ohm, Non-Elastic, Press-stud Connector

This dry Ground Strap Electrode has a velcro strap for proper fixation of the ground strap. The ground strap is not elastic and has a resistance (impedance) of 0 Ohm. The width of the strap itself is 2cm and is available in three different lengths: 25cm, 40cm and 70cm.

This dry ground strap electrode comes with a press-stud connector for connecting press-stud-/snap-/crocodile-/clip-connection cables. A connection cable is not included.

Dry ground strap electrodes are commonly used in EMG, EP, and EEG examinations. They can be used without the use of a conductive gel or saline solution. A saline-free solution such as water or salt-free gel may be used to ensure proper contact between the conductive material of the strap and the subject's skin.

Direction for Use

1. Clean the patient's skin where the ground strap will be placed.
2. Strap the ground strap electrode around the arm or ankle of the subject. Ensure it is tightly fixed to reduce motion.
3. Connect ground strap electrode snap-/crocodile-/clip-cable to the biosignal acquisition system.

Application Note

Clean the ground strap electrode with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Unsuitable for automized cleaning/sterilization.
