Reusable Ground Strap Electrode (Natus), Wet Type, with Cable

This Reusable Ground Strap Electrode is designed for use with Natus systems and can also be used with any other biosignal amplifier (EMG systems) or electrical stimulator.

The strap itself is green. It features a press-stud connector for connecting a connection cable. One 150cm connection cable with press-stud connector and a DIN 1.5mm touch-proof (TP) socket (female connector) is included in the package. This ground strap should be soaked in a saline solution before use. Ground straps are available in various lengths whereby the length refers to the contact surface of the strap and not the entire strap:

This Reusable Ground Strap Electrode has a Velcro fastener for easy mounting to the subject's wrist, ankle, or other desired location. During application, the operator should ensure that the contact surface makes contact with the subject's skin. After application, it can be let to dry and reused thereafter.

Direction for use

1. Remove the ground strap electrode from the packaging.
2. Prepare saline solution such as salt water or electrolyte (conductive) gel.
3. Soak the contact surface of the ground strap electrode in a saline solution. Do not soak the entire ground strap electrode but leave 2cm of felt pad near the connection cable dry!
4. Wait 2-3 minutes for the strap to soak with the saline solution.
5. Remove the ground strap electrode from the saline solution.
6. Strap the ground strap electrode to the subject's wrist, ankle or other desired location.
7. Remove the ground strap electrode after its application and let it dry.
