Electro-Gel by ECI is a perfect gel for EEG, EP and Brain-Mapping measurements. Comes in three different sized bottles/tubs.
Electro-Gel by Electro-Cap International, Inc. (ECI) is a perfect gel for EEG, evoked potentials (EP), brain computer interface (BCI), and brain-mapping measurements. ECI Electro-Gel ensures low electrode impedance for use with surface electrodes during EEG, EP, and other EXG measurements.
Comes in three different-sized bottles/tubs:
- 16 oz jar of ECI Electro-Gel can be used for roughly 75–90 EEG measurements using 20 electrodes
- 32 oz jar of ECI Electro-Gel can be used for roughly 150–180 EEG measurements using 20 electrodes
- 128 oz jar of ECI Electro-Gel can be used for roughly 600–720 EEG measurements using 20 electrodes
Specifications
- pH Value: 4.5
- Viscosity: 350 cps

- Avoid eye contact.
- If there is no hair at the electrode site, place a sponge disc (see below) around the electrode.
- It is not recommended that Electro-Gel be left in place for longer than eight hours for any single recording session.
- Do not use Electro-Gel with current-inducing electrodes.
- When finished recording, Electro-Gel may be removed from the scalp with mild soap and warm water, and from the cap and electrodes with Ivory (see below) liquid detergent and warm water.
