Ag/AgCl Sintered Pellet Electrodes, low offset voltage, low noise sintered electrodes. Different pellet sizes available: 1mm x 2.5mm, 1.5mm x 3mm, 2mm x 1.0mm, 2mm x 4mm.
These Ag/AgCl Sintered Pellet Electrodes are great for measuring a variety of different biosignals such as EEG, EMG, EOG, ECG and especially also DC biopotentials like GSR/EDA. Ag/AgCl Sintered Pellet Electrodes come in different sizes:
- 1mm diameter, 2.5mm height
- 1.5mm diameter, 3mm height
- 2mm diameter, 1.0mm height
- 2mm diameter, 4mm height
They come with a pre-attached pure silver (Ag) wire. The length of the silver wire is 7mm for 1.5mm x 3mm, 2mm x 1.0mm and 2mm x 4mm sized pellets, and 70mm for 1mm x 2.5mm sized pellet. Packaging size is one Ag/AgCl sintered pellet electrode per pack (longer cable sizes available upon enquiry via email).
These versatile Ag/AgCl sintered pellet electrodes have the consistency of soft metal and can be re-shaped by sanding, cutting, drilling and filing. Designed for use in electrochemistry, stimulation, precision bioelectric recording, electrophysiology and neurophysiological applications.
Ag/AgCl sintered electrodes can be used as both standard and reference electrodes, due to their stability and reproducible results. Bare Ag/AgCl sintered pellet electrodes show the same quality as the wired version, low offset voltage, stability, no re-chloridizing necessary, reusable and resurfacable, cold sterilization. The silver wire embedded in the electrode is of pure silver and allows for the specific connection that fits the users' needs.
Silver-Silver Chloride (Ag/AgCl) Electrodes are known for their low offset voltage, low noise and stability. Reusable and non-toxic, the electrodes can be cold sterilized and used for many years with minimal care.

Electrical Specifications
The following values were measured between pairs of electrodes and in 0.9% saline solution. These are median values from a large sample:
DC offset Voltage (bias potential): | 180 µV, Drift: 25 µV / h (at constant temperature) |
Noise: | 1 µV P – P (0.1 – 1 (0.1 – 1 kHz) |
Polarization (counter EMF): | 2 – 4µV at 0.1 µA |
