Ag/AgCl Sintered Disk Electrode (without hole). Different disk sizes available (2mm, 4mm, 6mm, 8mm, 9mm, 12mm, 14mm, 24mm) x 1mm height each.

These Ag/AgCl Sintered Disk Electrodes are great for measuring a variety of different biosignals such as EEG, EMG, EOG, ECG and especially also DC biopotentials like GSR/EDA. Ag/AgCl Sintered Disk Electrodes come in different sizes:

  • 2mm diameter, 1mm height
  • 4mm diameter, 1mm height
  • 6mm diameter, 1mm height
  • 8mm diameter, 1mm height
  • 9mm diameter, 1mm height
  • 12mm diameter, 1mm height
  • 14mm diameter, 1mm height
  • 24mm diameter, 1mm height

They come with a pre-attached pure silver (Ag) wire. The length of the silver wire is 10mm. Packaging size is one Ag/AgCl sintered disk electrode per pack.

These versatile Ag/AgCl sintered disk electrodes have the consistency of soft metal and can be re-shaped by sanding, cutting, drilling and filing. Designed for use in electrochemistry, stimulation, precision bioelectric recording, electrophysiology and neurophysiological applications.

Ag/AgCl sintered electrodes can be used as both standard and reference electrodes, due to their stability and reproducible results. Bare Ag/AgCl sintered disk electrodes show the same quality as the wired version, low offset voltage, stability, no re-chloridizing necessary, reusable and resurfacable, cold sterilization. The silver wire embedded in the electrode is of pure silver and allows for the specific connection that fits the users' needs.

Silver-Silver Chloride (Ag/AgCl) Electrodes are known for their low offset voltage, low noise and stability. Reusable and non-toxic, the electrodes can be cold sterilized and used for many years with minimal care.

One Ag/AgCl Sintered Disk Electrode per pack.

Electrical Specifications

The following values were measured between pairs of electrodes and in 0.9% saline solution. These are median values from a large sample:

DC offset Voltage (bias potential): 180 µV, Drift: 25 µV / h (at constant temperature)
Noise: 1 µV P – P (0.1 – 1 (0.1 – 1 kHz)
Polarization (counter EMF): 2 – 4µV at 0.1 µA
