Tip Holder for XGD Probe

The durable tip holders simply unclip from the XGD probe and can be quickly replaced without risking damage to probe transducers by inexperienced handling. They click onto the probe with light pressure, securing them in place.

Applications Notes

Tip holders should be replaced at regular intervals or when contaminated. As with all probes, it is important to:

• Fit a new tip before each test.
• Check that tip holder is not contaminated before fitting the tip.
• If the tip holder is contaminated, replace it. We recommend fitting new tip holders at regulard intervals (approximately every 20-40 test) as a preventive measure.
• Perform weekly QA tests

To replace the Tip Holders, follow these steps:

1. To fit the Tip Holder to the probe body, ensure that it is aligned with the probe head as shown above.
2. Align the semi-circle key on the Tip Holder with the probe body as shown here.
3. Apply light pressure, while firmly pushing on both side tabs until they click securely into place.
