Ag/AgCl Shielded Sintered Electrode, different electrode sensor diameters available, 100cm lead wire length, for various applications including EEG, EMG, facial EMG, EOG. Similar to EL254S/EL258S.

Ag/AgCl Shielded Sintered Electrode come with a 1mm thick Ag/AgCl electrode sensor mounted in a durable epoxy ring housing. This epoxy coating ensures durability and a waterproof electrode. This Ag/Agcl shielded sintered electrode can be re-used when treated with care and cold sterilized after use. The lead wire length is 100cm (40”) and terminates in a 1.5mm touch-proof (TP) connector. Standard lead wires are PVC insulated multi-strand copper with internal Tinsel for additional strength and durability. Ag/AgCl shielded sintered electrodes can be used for a variety of applications such as EEG, EMG, facial EMG, EOG, etc.

These electrodes are similar to EL254S/EL258S.

These Ag/AgCl Shielded Sintered Electrode come with a 1mm thick Ag/AgCl electrode sensor mounted in a durable epoxy ring housing. The height of the housing is 5mm. The epoxy coating of the housing ensures durability and a waterproof electrode. Ag/AgCl shielded sintered electrodes come in two different sizes: 4mm diameter and 8mm diameter. Packaging size is one Ag/AgCl sintered electrode per pack.

Ag/AgCl sintered electrodes feature a small cavity that should be filled with a conductive gel, cream, or paste. The depth of the cavity is 2mm.

This Ag/AgCl sintered electrode can be re-used when treated with care and cold sterilized after use. The lead wire length is 100cm (40”) and terminates in a DIN 1.5mm touch-proof (TP) connector. Standard lead wires are PVC insulated multi-strand copper with internal Tinsel for additional strength and durability.

Ag/AgCl sintered electrodes can be used as both standard and reference electrodes, due to their stability and reproducible results. Silver-Silver Chloride (Ag/AgCl) Electrodes are known for their low offset voltage, low noise and stability. Reusable and non-toxic, the electrodes can be cold sterilized and used for many years with minimal care.

Electrical Specifications

The following values were measured between pairs of electrodes and in 0.9% saline solution. These are median values from a large sample:

DC offset Voltage (bias potential): 180 µV, Drift: 25 µV / h (at constant temperature)
Noise: 1 µV P – P (0.1 – 1 (0.1 – 1 kHz)
Polarization (counter EMF): 2 – 4µV at 0.1 µA
